COVID 19 Safe Working Arrangements
At Woodexperts we have now adjusted our ways of working to accommodate the "New Normal". We are one of the first organisations to be operating under the guidelines of the newly updated British Standard document: PD ISO/PAS 45005:2020 Occupational health and safety management — General guidelines for safe working during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this way, we continue to be well ahead of the game.
To protect both our staff and our visitors, we have undertaken - and will continue to do so - full and frequent antiviral sterilisation procedures on all surfaces and handles throughout our premises. In addition, sterilising wipes, hand gel and facemasks will be available at all times, for anyone to use.
The new '1-metre plus' Social Distancing guidelines will be fully observed, to ensure that direct personal contact can be avoided.
With these measures in place, we are confident that our Education and Training Courses and our Examinations can continue in as near-normal a manner as possible: though with some new arrangements to maximise safe working - and we have now adapted our Courses to operate within the 'Blended Learning' model (as is now being used by the Universities). Therefore, certain tutorials will now happen via Video Conferencing (Zoom); although it is our primary intention to still conduct some elements of class-based training, where that is practicable - and also more conducive to achieving the desired Learning Outcomes.
Please contact us for full details of the ways in which we can help you to keep on learning; whilst staying as safe and healthy as possible in these unprecedented days.
